Meet the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado HD

The Chevrolet Silverado HD trucks are among the highest-rated pickup trucks on the road. Power & Performance

There are two engine options available for Chevrolet’s HD Silverado trucks. The 6.6-liter V8 churns out 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. This cast-iron block engine doesn’t just deliver power. Combined with a six-speed transmission, it also delivers a smooth ride and easy handling. There’s also a diesel engine, a turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 with air induction. This connects to a 10-speed transmission. It delivers 445 horsepower and a remarkable 910 pound-feet of torque.

The Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD are also spacious for pickup trucks. They offer 43 inches of headroom and 44.5 inches of legroom in the front seats. The 2500 is available in three different cab configurations: regular, double and crew cab. The 3500 is available as a crew cab. There are single- and dual-rear wheel options for the 3500. There are also two bed lengths, standard and long, available.

Innovative Technology

The Silverado HD models come complete with great technology features, too. There are 15 available cameras for these trucks. This makes it easier than ever to monitor blind spots, to back up and to connect as a trailering system. A heads-up display makes it easy to see indicators for speed, fuel and other gauges without ever looking down. There’s also a full-color touchscreen for controlling the infotainment system. These heavy-duty trucks can be integrated with common automobile apps and Wi-Fi hotspots are available.
