If you’re looking for a midsize truck, consider the new 2023 Chevrolet Colorado. It has the benefit of being smaller than a full-size truck, while still being big on capabilities. In fact, the latest Colorado has a class-leading tow rating of up to 7,700 pounds, when properly equipped.
The Colorado receives an overhaul for 2023. This includes an update to its appearance, as well as some mechanical changes and all-new features.
Chevy’s latest Colorado is powered by a turbocharged, 2.7-liter I4 engine. Base models of this truck produce 237 horsepower. The Trailboss, Z71 and ZR2 models of the Colorado get a high-output version of the same engine. This supped-up version of the engine makes 310 horsepower and an impressive 430 pound-feet of torque. All models of the truck come with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Chevy Colorado provides a smooth and refined ride. This remains true whether you’re cruising around the streets of Sedona, or going on an off-road adventure. Most of the trim levels of this tuck have available 4WD (four-wheel drive) for superior traction and exceptional off-road performance across Prescott Valley.
The Trailboss trim level gets a 2-speed transfer case and a Driver Mode Select. The latter feature helps the vehicle to adapt to the driver’s preferences, as well as changing road conditions around Camp Verde.
The ZR2 trim level offers even more off-road-enhancing features. This includes 10.7-inches of ground clearance and 33-inch all-terrain tires. The new Colorado is an excellent work truck or daily driver. It has impressive capabilities and its off-road prowess can help you to get to remote worksites in and around Cottonwood.
